Get to know the great friendship between Hugo Guillamón and Sergio Gómez

Both players will face each other this Saturday at Real Sociedad-Valencia CF
Hugo Guillamón and Sergio Gómez will meet again in the top flight of Spanish football this coming Saturday at the Reale Arena. Both players have a great friendship since their time in the Spanish U-16 national team.
Their relationship began to forge in those duels as rivals that they had at the ‘Benjamín’level. Guillamón took his first steps in Valencia CF while Sergio Gómez played for RCD Espanyol -later, FC Barcelona and Borussia Dortmund-. They played against each other in many tournaments. At the same time, their sporting progress was growing, until they had the opportunity to be teammates in the same team, in this case, in the U-16 Spanish National Team.
Their rivalry on the pitch then became a great friendship that grew stronger year after year, inseparable in the ‘Rojita’. Hugo and Sergio have shared many successes, being champions of Europe Under-17, the 2018 Mediterranean Games and the European Under-19 Championship in 2019.

This coming Saturday Valencia CF will face Real Sociedad. A match in which they will meet again in LALIGA EA SPORTS. Previously, in 2020, they were already rivals on the pitch in matches in which Valencia CF were SD Huesca's opponents.
